What began as a passion has evolved into something more. i’m proud of where i’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Design is not ornamentation; it is the functional solution to a communication problem. With over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer and later on an art director, i have consolidated a professional practice based on a strictly functional process philosophy. The objective is clear: to prioritize information efficiency and the systematic elimination of visual noise.

As an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) graduate in Communication Design from the Chavón School of Design, my approach consists of solving strategic problems through tangible or digital visual assets. I apply a rigorous command of composition, typography, color harmony, and visual perception. Every technical decision has a single purpose: to ensure the message connects directly with the target audience.

This vision expands into the role of art director, where the work transcends individual execution to focus on conceptual leadership. I define the visual style (look and feel) before detailed design begins. This involves developing the core idea from a brief, making critical aesthetic decisions—photography direction, color palettes, typography, and image style—and supervising creative teams to ensure every discipline maintains absolute alignment with the original project.

To articulate this working method, I integrate my competencies into a cohesive process. I execute comprehensive strategic design based on the premise that form follows function, subjecting every compositional decision to a critical filter designed to optimize cognitive load and deliver the message without distractions. This structural foundation allows for the creation of visual identities through clear and scalable languages, free of unjustified ornamentation and projected to remain relevant regardless of market fluctuations.

Simultaneously, visual consulting acts as a quality control mechanism; I systematically evaluate graphic ecosystems and initial concepts to diagnose redundancies, restructuring any proposal towards what is strictly necessary. This rigor is maintained until the final phase of direction and coherence, ensuring—from the client presentation to the technical implementation—that the brand retains a solid and unalterable identity across all its applications.
